What you need:

  • Clean cloth or paper towels
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • White vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Blot stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to remove as much of the redwine as possible.
  2. Mix a solution of a few drops of dishwashing liquid and a cup of cold water.
  3. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and dab stain gently but firmly. Repeat until the stain is removed.
  4. Rinse the spot with clean cold water and blot with another cloth to remove any residue.
  5. If the stain persists, mix a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water and dab stain again. Rinse with cold water and blot dry.

Additional Tips:

  • To avoid further staining, never rub or scrub the spot.
  • Be sure to test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous part of the bag first.
  • Let the area dry completely before using the bag again.
