Getting Started

Before you start, check the care label attached to the headband. If it is not labeled “washable,” spot clean the band instead. If it is machine washable, head to your laundry room.

Supplies Needed

  • Dish soap
  • White towel
  • Gently-used toothbrush

Steps to Take

  1. Apply a small amount of dish soap directly onto the stain.
  2. Using a white towel, dab the headband with a circular motion.
  3. Carefully scrub the stain with a gently-used toothbrush, being sure to not damage material.
  4. Rinse the headband with cold water.
  5. Allow the headband to air dry.

Repeat, if Necessary

If you are still seeing the stain after following these steps, repeat the process until stain is no longer visible.
