Step 1: Blot the Stain

Start by blotting the stain - don’t rub or scrub! Using an absorbent cloth or paper towel, blot up as much of the spilled wine as possible. Press down around the edges of the stain and work your way towards the center. Do not rinse the area with water yet.

Step 2: Apply White Vinegar

Soak a cloth in white vinegar and use it to dab the stained area. This will help break up any remaining sediment and make it easier to remove.

Step 3: Sprinkle Baking Soda

Sprinkle baking soda over the stained area. The baking soda helps to absorb any remaining liquid and helps the cloth or paper towel soak up stain. Leave the baking soda on for several minutes before blotting it off.

Step 4: Apply Detergent

Mix a small amount of detergent with warm water and apply it to the stained area. Use a clean cloth to Rub gently until the stain is gone.

Step 5: Rinse and Dry

Rinse off the detergent with cold water, then dry the area with a soft cloth. If the stain still persists, repeat process until it is gone.
