If you own a piece of Dolce & Gabbana apparel or fabric, then chances are you take good care of it. Normally, the luxury brand is not prone to staining, but unfortunately even clothing from best brands and fabrics can suffer from a clumsy spillage of red wine.
But don’t worry –you can still save your beloved Dolce & Gabbana clothing or fabric from a red wine spill if you follow these simple tips:
First, remove as much of spilled red wine as possible. This will help prevent further damage. Next, pour cold (not hot!) water onto the affected area. Blot (never rub!) the affected area with a clean, white cloth or paper towels.
Once excess wine has been blotted away, you may also want to rinse the area with white vinegar. This will help lift away any remaining color and neutralize the acidity of the red wine, making it easier to remove the stain. Use a clean cloth or paper towel to dab the affected area with diluted white vinegar.
Once you think you’ve gotten rid of most of the stain, try treating fabric with a detergent spray designed specifically for clothing. Follow the instructions on the bottle and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cool water. Again, use a clean cloth or paper towel to gently dab the fabric until all excess water is removed.
Finally, lay the affected garment flat to air dry. Avoid drying with an electric dryer, as this could set the stain permanently.
It is possible to save your beloved Dolce & Gabbana fabric from a red wine spill. With a little time, effort and patience, you can remove most red stains from your luxurious clothing or fabrics. Good luck!
It depends on the severity of the stain. With the right treatment, you should be able to remove most red wine stains within 15 minutes.
