Instructions
- As soon as possible, rinse the stain with cold water.
- Create a cleaning solution using one tablespoon of dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar mixed with two cups of warm water.
- With a white cloth or sponge, dab the solution onto the stain.
- Allow the solution to sit on stain for five minutes.
- Rinse the area well with water.
- If the stain remains, mix one teaspoon of ammonia with one cup of warm water.
- With a white cloth or sponge, dab the ammonia solution onto the stain.
- Let the ammonia solution sit for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the area well with water.
- If the stain remains, repeat steps 3-9.
- Finally, launder the crop top according to manufacturer's instructions.
Tips
- Always use white cloths when cleaning wine stains - colorful cloths cannot be fully bleached and may cause the stain to transfer onto the fabric after time.
- After laundering your crop top, inspect it to make sure the stain is gone before placing it in the dryer.
- If the stain persists, blot it with rubbing alcohol.
