Eliminate Red Wine Stains from Broomstick Lace with These Easy Steps
Accidents happen. Red wine stains on broomstick lace can be a major cleaning task, but it doesn't have to be impossible. Follow these easy cleaning steps to restore your broomstick lace fabrics.

What You Need:
- White vinegar
- White sponge or cloth
- Clean white absorbent cloth
- Salt
- Dish detergent
Instructions:
- Mix one tablespoon of salt in one cup white vinegar, and stir until salt dissolves. Then, saturate a white sponge or cloth with the solution.
- Gently rub the stained area with the salt/vinegar mix on the sponge/cloth.
- Sponge or cloth off the excess with a clean white absorbent cloth if necessary.
- If the stain still remains, make a mixture of one teaspoon each of dishwashing detergent and white vinegar with one cup of warm water. Apply to the stained area with a sponge
- Rinse with cold water and blot dry.
- Launder as usual.
Tips:
- Be sure to test the cleaning methods on a small inconspicuous area of the fabric before applying to the stain itself.
- Always apply cleaning solutions carefully and gently to avoid damaging the fabric.
- For difficult red wine stains, repeat the cleaning process more than once.
