Materials Needed

  • Paper towels
  • Sponge
  • Mild laundry detergent
  • White vinegar

Instructions

  1. Blot the stained area with paper towels to remove excess liquid and prevent it from spreading.
  2. Mix one teaspoon of laundry detergent and one cup of white vinegar in a bowl of lukewarm water.
  3. Soak a sponge into the mixture and apply it to stained area. Let sit for five minutes.
  4. Rinse off the sponge and use it to scrub the stained area gently. Make sure not to rub too hard.
  5. Wipe barrette clean with a damp cloth.
  6. Let dry completely before wearing.
