How to Get Red Wine Stains Out of Your Ball Gown Quickly

What You'll Need
- Baking soda or cornstarch
- White paper towels or cloth
- White vinegar
- Mild detergent
Instructions
- Remove any excess liquid from the red wine stain using white paper towels or cloth. Place a fresh paper towel or cloth underneath the stained area and press gently.
- Sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch on top of the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. This will help absorb some of the moisture.
- Mix a solution of 1 teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 cup of warm water.
- Dip a clean, white cloth into the vinegar solution and dab at the stain. Avoid rubbing the stain, as it can damage delicate fabrics.
- Once the red wine stain is removed, rinse the area with cool water. Then use a mild detergent and cold water to wash the entire garment.
- Allow the garment to air dry, then examine stain. If the stain is still visible, repeat Steps 2-5 until the stain is removed.
