What You Need

  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Dish soap
  • Paper towels
  • Scrub brush or sponge

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda, two tablespoons of salt, and one tablespoon of dish soap in a bowl.
  2. Spread this mixture onto the stained area of your baking dish and let it sit for at least an hour.
  3. Once the mixture has been given time to set in, use a scrub brush or sponge to scrub off the mixture and the red wine stain.
  4. Rinse the baking dish with warm water and dry it with a paper towel.

Additional Tips

  • If needed, repeat steps 2 through 4 to fully remove the stain.
  • If baking dish is too large or delicate to scrub, you can use a cloth soaked in the mixture instead.
  • For a stubborn stain, mix one tablespoon each of lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide, then spread the paste onto the stain and let it sit overnight before scrubbing it off.
