Steps For Removing Red Wine Stains From Alpaca

  1. Gently blot up as much of the liquid as possible with the absorbent cloth. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing at stain, as this may cause stain to set.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon of mild detergent with 1 cup of warm water in a bowl.
  3. Dip the cloth into the mixture and gently blot the stained area. Take care not to rub or scrub too hard.
  4. Rinse the area with clean, warm water and again, blot away excess liquid.
  5. Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 1 cup of warm water.
  6. Dip the cloth into the mixture and gently blot the stained area. Again, be sure to avoid rubbing or scrubbing too hard.
  7. Blot the area with a dry cloth to remove any remaining residue, and allow the fabric to air dry.
