Step 3: Launder with Detergent

Fill a sink or tub with cold water and add in a small amount of detergent specifically designed for delicate fabrics, such as an Ariel detergent suitable for wool and silk. Soak the garment for another 20-30 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
Step 4: Use White Vinegar

Soak the garment in a mixture of 2 parts cold water and 1 part white vinegar for 20 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
