Twill fabric is so popular to use on upholstery and draperies because it is durable and dirt-resistant. While twill fabric is designed to repel dirt and moisture, pet stains still slip through every once in a while. Luckily, there are a few quick and reliable ways to get rid of them.

Technique #1: Use Vinegar and Water for Stubborn Stains

Mix one part white vinegar to four parts water in a spray bottle. Then test an inconspicuous area of the fabric to make sure the vinegar doesn't damage the fabric. Once you see that it's safe to proceed, spray the stained area with the vinegar solution from 12 inches away. Blot the stain with a white cloth or paper towel until the stain starts to come out. Be sure not to rub the area as this could cause further damage. After the stain is removed, rinse the area with warm water and blot dry.

Technique #2: Use a Mild Detergent and Water Solution

Mix a mild detergent with lukewarm water in a bowl. Then dip a soft cloth into the solution and lightly dab the stained area. Rinse the cloth in clean water and then place it on top of the stain to absorb any excess moisture. Continue this process until the stain disappears. Finally, allow the area to air dry.

Technique #3: Treat the Stain with a Liquid Enzyme Cleaner

Using a liquid enzyme cleaner is another effective way to get rid of pet stains on twill fabric. Pour a small amount of the liquid enzyme cleaner directly onto the stain, and let it sit for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, dab the stain with a cloth or paper towel. You may need to repeat this process several times until the stain is completely gone. Finally, allow the area to air dry.

Conclusion

Pet stains can be stubborn, but don't worry - you can get rid of them with some basic cleaning techniques. To remove pet stains from twill fabric, try using a vinegar and water solution, a mild detergent and water solution, or a liquid enzyme cleaner. With these simple tips, you can keep your twill fabric looking like new!
