How to Easily Clean Pet Stains from Trench Coats

What You'll Need

  • A bucket of lukewarm water
  • ¼ cup of white vinegar
  • ¼ cup of laundry detergent
  • Sponge
  • Clean cloths

Instructions

  1. Fill the bucket with lukewarm water and add the white vinegar and laundry detergent.
  2. Mix the ingredients well.
  3. Soak the stain in the mixture for 15 minutes.
  4. Lightly scrub the area with a sponge.
  5. Rinse the area with a clean cloth and lukewarm water.
  6. Allow the area to air dry.

Tips

  • Test detergent in an inconspicuous area of the trench coat to make sure it won’t damage the fabric before using.
  • Be sure to rinse out the area thoroughly after scrubbing with the sponge.
