Preparing for Stain Removal

Before removing pet stains from your tracksuit, you should do some preparation. First, lay garment on a flat surface. If the stain is still wet, use a paper towel or cloth to blot up the excess liquid. If the stain is dry, scrape off any solid material before you start cleaning.

Cleaning Pet Stains from Tracksuits

Once you’re ready to start cleaning, begin by mixing one teaspoon of laundry detergent with two cups of cold water. Next, dip a white cloth into solution and dab it onto the stain. Make sure to work from the inside out, so you don’t spread stain. Avoid scrubbing the fabric too hard, which can cause damage.

If the stain is still visible after the first application, repeat the process until it’s gone. Once you’ve finished, rinse the area with cold water and blot dry with a clean cloth. To make sure all the detergent has been removed from the tracksuit, fill a large bowl with cold water and swish the fabric around. Then, press any remaining moisture from fabric with a towel.

Finishing Up

Finally, hang the tracksuit up to air dry. Do not put it in the dryer, as this will set the stain and make it more difficult to remove in the future. Once the tracksuit has dried, check the stain again to make sure it’s gone.
