The first step to tackling any stain is to remove as much of the excess liquid as possible. Place a paper towel or clean cloth over the stain and press down gently. Apply firm pressure — but be careful not to spread stain further — and lift away the soiled towel.
Tommy Hilfiger clothing is machine-washable, so adding an appropriate detergent is safe. Find a mild detergent and mix it with water in a bucket. Dip a separate cloth into the mixture and dab the stain until there is a good lather.
Once you have a good lather, use a circular motion to rub the stain with the cloth. This should help draw out any remaining debris, and remove the majority of stain.
Once stain is gone, wash the item in cold water following the washing instructions on the label. Be sure to choose the setting that is the most gentle, and avoid any excess agitation.
Once the garment has been washed and rinsed, hang it up to air dry. Do not place the item in the dryer, as the heat could cause stain to set in further.
