Using a clean white cloth, gently blot the stain to absorb any liquid. Avoid rubbing because it will only make the stain spread.
Spray the stain with a pet stain remover. Work the cleaner into fabric with a soft brush. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Use another clean white cloth to dab the skirt with cold water. Avoid scrubbing, as this can also cause the stain to spread.
Wash the skirt in the washing machine with cold water and the regular amount of detergent. You can also add some color-safe bleach to make sure all the stain is removed.
Hang the skirt outdoors or in a well-ventilated area to air-dry. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can cause fading of the color.
If the stain is still present after the first attempt, repeat the previous steps until the stain is gone.
