Start off by blotting the stain with a paper towel or clean cloth. This will help absorb some of the excess moisture and prevent the stain from spreading further. Do not rub the area, as this could cause the stain to set permanently.
Once any extra moisture has been removed, begin gently scrubbing the affected area with a soft-bristle brush. This will help to break up and remove any dirt and debris that has become stuck in fabric.
Mix a small amount of mild soap with warm water and use it to treat the stained area. Dip a cloth or sponge into the soapy water and gently scrub the stain in a circular motion. If necessary, use a soft-bristle brush to give it an extra scrub. When you're finished, rinse the area with clean water.
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl and dip a cloth or sponge into it. Gently scrub area and then rinse the area with clean water. This will help to remove the smell of the pet stain.
Sprinkle some baking soda over the stained area and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, vacuum up baking soda and stain should have lightened up. If the stain is still evident, apply a bit more baking soda and repeat the process.
For tougher pet stains, put some rubbing alcohol onto a clean cloth and dab the stained area. Let it sit for 20 minutes and then rinse with clean water. This should help to remove any remaining stain or odor.
By following these simple steps, you can easily and quickly clean pet stains from your Skechers. Whether it's a light spot or a tough stain, you'll be able to remove it with ease.
