The first step to removing pet stains from silk satin is to blot the stain with paper towels or a clean rag. Blotting the stain will help draw out some of the liquid and prevent it from setting further into the fabric.
Now create a soapy solution by combining dishwashing detergent with warm water. Use caution and make sure that the water isn't too hot in order to ensure that the silk satin isn't damaged. Once your solution is ready, use a lint-free cloth to apply it to the area of fabric and gently rub the stain in circles.
Once the stain has been removed, rinse the affected area with cold or warm water. Make sure to check the fabric for any remaining stain.
If the stain still remains, use white vinegar to treat the fabric. Simply spray vinegar onto area and use a lint-free cloth to scrub the fabric until the stain is gone.
Once the stain has been lifted, it's time to air dry the fabric. Hang the fabric in a well-ventilated area and avoid direct sunlight as this could damage fabric.
As you can see, it's relatively easy to remove pet stains from silk satin without damaging the fabric. As long as you act quickly, you should be able to restore your fabric and make it look just like new. Just remember to take your time and use a gentle hand when treating the fabric.
