Start by using a pre-treatment product specifically designed for pet stains, such as an enzyme cleaner. Follow the instructions on the package and apply to the stained area. Allow the pre-treatment to work its magic for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
Fill a basin with hot water, making sure it is not too hot for your mask material. Submerge mask in the water for about 15 to 20 minutes. This will help loosen up the stain, making it easier to remove.
When you're done soaking the mask, place it in the washing machine with your regular detergent. Set the cycle to the delicate setting, if possible, and use a mild detergent. Allow the cycle to finish and then take the mask out.
Finally, hang or lay your mask flat to air dry. Make sure it is completely dry before wearing or storing it. And that's it - you're done! Your mask should be good as new with no sign of pet stains.
