What You’ll Need:

  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • Soft cloths or sponges
  • Gentle soap

Step 1: Blot the Stain with a Wet Cloth or Sponge

Use a soft cloth or sponge and wet it with cool water. Gently blot the stained area, being careful not to rub or scrub the stain. This will ensure that the stain doesn't seep further into the fabric.

Step 2: Mix up a Vinegar Solution

In a bowl, mix two parts white vinegar and one part water, then apply it to the stained area using a soft cloth or sponge. Allow it to sit for 15-20 minutes, then gently wipe away the solution.

Step 3: Apply a Gentle Soap and Water Mixture

Mix a gentle soap with warm water and apply it to the stain, gently rubbing it in with a soft cloth or sponge. Allow the mixture to sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse clean with water.

Step 4: Blot Dry

Once you have finished cleaning the stain, lightly blot the area with a dry cloth or towel to absorb any remaining moisture.

Step 5: Air Dry

Allow the area to air dry completely before using your Irish crochet again.
