Before you get started, make sure you unplug your headphones from any power sources. This will ensure that they don't get damaged while you're in the middle of cleaning them. Begin by cleaning any visible pet stains from the outer surfaces of your headphones. Use a cotton swab dipped in warm, soapy water and gently rub away the stain. Make sure to dry off the headphones completely once you're done.
Once the outer surfaces are cleaned and dried, take a soft-bristled brush and gently scrub away any excess dirt or debris. Be careful not to apply too much pressure while doing this. You don't want to damage delicate material of your headphones.
For tougher pet stains, you may need to use a mild detergent and water solution. Take a soft cloth and lightly dampen it with the solution. Don't soak the cloth. Then, use the cloth to dab the stained area. Continue to dab until the stain is lifted. Remember to dry off the cloth after every dab. Once you're finished, use a clean, dry cloth to dry off the headphones. This will help prevent any further damage from occurring.
After you've cleaned the area, rinse your headphones with cool water. Use a damp cloth to wipe away excess water. Again, be sure to dry off the headphones completely with a clean, dry cloth before you move to the next step.
Once the headphones are rinsed and dried, place them in a warm, well-ventilated area. This will help speed up the drying process. Don't leave your headphones in direct sunlight or expose them to extreme temperatures. Once the headphones are completely dry, plug them in and enjoy your sparkling clean headphones!
