1. Gather Your Supplies

Before you start cleaning, make sure you have the tools to do the job right. You’ll need a bucket of warm water, laundry detergent, white vinegar, and a clean rag.

2. Pre-Treat the Stain

Mix together some laundry detergent with the warm water in bucket. Soak a rag in the mixture and apply it to the stain on the flip flop. Rub the rag gently in a circular motion until the stain is broken up or removed.

3. Rinse the Stain

Once you’ve pre-treated the stain, use a clean cloth and some warm water to rinse it off. Make sure all of the soap has been removed before moving on to the next step.

4. Apply the Vinegar Solution

Mix equal parts of warm water and white vinegar in a container. Dip the cloth in the solution and use it to gently scrub stained area of the flip flop. Work it into a lather and rinse off the solution when you’re finished.

5. Let It Air Dry

Once you’ve pre-treated and cleaned the stain, let your flip flops air dry in a well ventilated room. Avoid using a towel as this may cause fabric to become damaged or stretched.

6. Repeat As Needed

If stain isn’t completely gone after one treatment, repeat the steps until you’re satisfied with result. You may need to repeat them several times before stain is completely removed.

Conclusion

Cleaning pet stains from flip flops may seem like a daunting task. However, with right supplies and a bit of elbow grease, you can restore your favorite pair in no time!
