Gently blot the stain with a white cloth to remove as much liquid as possible. Don’t rub the fabric as this may spread the stain and set it into the fabric.
Mix vinegar and borax powder together in equal parts with a few drops of water to form a paste. Apply paste directly to the stain and leave it to soak for a few minutes, allowing it time to break down stain.
Using a clothes brush, gently scrub at the stain until it lifts. Depending on size of the stain you may need to apply a little extra pressure to get the stain out.
Run water over the stained area and use a white cloth to blot it away. Ensure that all of paste is removed and repeat the process until the stain is gone.
Having to deal with a pet stain on an evening gown doesn't have to be a hassle. With the right supplies and know-how, cleaning up a pet stain can be an easy process.
