To get any pet stain out of double georgette fabric, you'll need:
Time is of the essence when it comes to removing pet stains from fabric. As soon as the accident happens, take a few paper towels and press firmly onto the spot to absorb as much liquid as possible. Blot, don't rub. Rubbing can push the stain further into fabric.
Once you have gotten rid of as much of the liquid as possible, mix together equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and lightly mist the affected area. Allow the mixture to soak into the fabric for 10-15 minutes.
Before continuing to the next step, you will want to check for colorfastness. Dip a small corner of the fabric in some cool water and gently rub it against itself. If the color doesn't smear, continue to the next step.
Fill a basin with tepid water and add a small amount of mild laundry detergent. Soak stained item in the soapy water for at least 15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Once the item is rinsed, lay it flat on a towel and press to remove excess water. Hang up to dry.
