If you have a fresh pet stain on your coveralls, the best thing to do is to act quickly. You should first remove the excess water or liquid using a paper towel or cloth and then apply a mixture of cold water and detergent to the area.
Be sure to use a mild detergent that is designed specifically for treating pet stains. Once the solution has been applied, gently rub stain in a circular motion. After a few minutes, the stain should start to come out and you can rinse it out with cold water.
If your coverall has an old or dried-in pet stain, then you will need to take a different approach. Start by using a wet cloth or paper towel to dampen the area. Then, sprinkle some baking soda onto the stain and allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes.
Once the baking soda has had time to work, you can use a brush or cloth to scrub area thoroughly. Then, rinse it off with cold water and apply a pet stain remover according to the directions on the package. After letting the product sit for several minutes, you can rinse it off again and check to see if the stain has been removed.
