Things You'll Need

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent
  • Cotton swab
  • Clean cloth

Steps To Take

  1. Mix 1 cup of warm water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent in a bowl.
  2. Dip the cotton swab into the mixture and blot the stain gently.
  3. Rotate the cotton swab frequently and switch to a clean part of the swab when needed to prevent the spread of the stain.
  4. Once stain is gone, use the clean cloth to wipe away any residue that was left behind by mixture.
  5. Finally, let the shirt air dry completely before wearing it.

Tips

  • If the stain persists after following these steps, try soaking the shirt in cold water for 30 minutes before repeating the process again.
  • Always use cold water when dealing with pet stains as hot water can cause them to set permanently.
  • Do a patch test in an inconspicuous area, such as the hem or sleeve, before attempting to remove pet stains from your collared shirt.
