Before you start cleaning, you’ll need some supplies. Gather up some baking soda, vinegar, an old toothbrush, a cloth, and, of course, affected clogs.
In a small bowl, mix together a cup of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of white vinegar until you get a paste-like consistency. Apply paste directly onto the affected area of the clogs. Let it sit on the stain for at least 15-20 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Use an old toothbrush to brush away the residue left behind by the baking soda and vinegar mixture. Be sure to work in small, circular motions to ensure that all the residue is properly removed.
Take a dry cloth and wipe away any remaining stains from the clogs. If necessary, use a damp cloth to help lift stubborn stains.
Once you’ve wiped away any remaining stains, allow the clogs to air dry completely before you wear them again. This prevention step can help keep your shoes fresh and prevent future pet stains.
Cleaning up pet stains on your clogs doesn't have to be a hassle. By following the steps above, you can easily restore your shoes and enjoy them again in no time.
