Using a dry soft cloth, lightly blot up any excess moisture from the pet stain. Be sure not to rub or scrub as this could cause further damage to the delicate fabric.
Mix a solution of mild detergent with cold water and lightly pre-treat the stain by applying it to the area with a soft cloth. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Using a clean cloth soaked in a bowl of cold water, thoroughly rinse the pre-treated area. Be sure to remove any remaining traces of detergent solution.
Mix a solution of one part distilled white vinegar and four parts cold water. Apply the solution to the stain using a soft cloth, gently blotting area until the stain has been removed. Allow the solution to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
If the stain still remains after vinegar solution, apply a laundry stain remover to area. Allow solution to sit for 20 minutes before rinsing with cold water.
Lay the fabric flat on a towel and allow to air dry away from direct sunlight or heat.
