When it comes to getting rid of pet stains, the first step is always to blot area with a clean cloth. Do not rub the material; instead, blot as much liquid up as possible using a dry cloth.
Mix equal parts of mild detergent (like dish soap) and warm water in a bowl until it begins to form suds. Make sure that the detergent is completely dissolved in the water before you move on to the next step.
Using a clean cloth, apply the cleaning solution to the stain. It's best to work from the outside of the stain towards the middle to prevent stain from spreading.
Once you've applied the cleaning solution, blot the area with a clean cloth soaked in cold water. Be sure to keep blotting until all of the soap and water has been absorbed by the cloth.
If the stain is still visible after following the above steps, mix equal parts of white vinegar and baking soda and apply it to the stain. Allow this mixture to sit for around 15 minutes before vacuuming or brushing away the residue.
Using these simple steps, you should be able to easily remove pet stains from an A-line dress. Just remember to always start by blotting the area and use a mild detergent to get best results.
