When it comes to pet messes, it's important to act quickly. Take action soon after spotting the stain so that the task of cleaning can be made easier. Here are some tips to help you get rid of pet stains from your pet's accessories:

  • First, remove any excess material such as debris, hair, and lint from the surface of the item. Use a vacuum with an upholstery attachment or a lint roller to do this.
  • If the stain is wet, blot the area with a paper towel or cloth. Never rub a stain; instead, gently press on surface to absorb liquid.
  • Now, treat the stain with a pet-safe cleaner. You can make your own by mixing one part white vinegar with two parts water. Alternatively, you can purchase a pet-safe stain remover from the store.
  • Using a clean cloth or sponge, apply cleaning solution onto the stained area. Work in a circular motion, starting from the outer edges and working inwards. Make sure to test a small, inconspicuous area first to check for colorfastness.
  • Leave the solution on until the stain begins to fade. Then, rinse off the treated area with cold water.
  • Finally, let item air dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not machine wash the item unless the label says otherwise.

And that's it! With just a few simple steps, you can remove pet stains from your pet's accessories and make them look as good as new.
