What You'll Need

Before you start cleaning your watch, you'll want to make sure you have the right materials. Here's what you'll need to get rid of those unsightly sweat stains:

  • Soft, lint-free cloth
  • A mild soap, such as dish soap
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Q-tips
  • Cotton swabs

Instructions

  1. Using a soft, lint-free cloth, gently wipe away any dirt or debris from the watch.
  2. Mix a few drops of mild soap in a bowl of water. Soak a cotton swab in the soapy water and gently rub away the perspiration stains.
  3. If the stain persists, mix a teaspoon of baking soda and a teaspoon of white vinegar into a paste. Apply the paste to a Q-tip and rub the watch gently. Rinse the watch with clean water and dry with a lint-free cloth.

Tips

  • Be sure to use a mild soap that won't damage the watch material.
  • You may need to repeat the process if the stain persists.
  • To avoid future stains, wipe down your watch after each wear.
