What You Will Need:

  • Dish soap or ammonia-based cleaner
  • Chlorine bleach
  • White vinegar
  • A toothbrush (or an old toothbrush!)
  • Baking soda
  • A soft cloth

How To Clean Perspiration Stains from Under Armour:

  1. The first step is to mix together a solution of 1 cup of white vinegar and 1/4 cup of chlorine bleach in a bucket of cold water.
  2. Soak the garment in solution for 10 minutes, then rinse.
  3. If there is still perspiration staining, rub baking soda onto the affected area.
  4. Use a dish soap or ammonia-based cleaner to pre-treat the stained area. Let the pre-treatment sit on the stain for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Scrub the area with an old toothbrush, being sure to reach every crevice.
  6. Rinse the garment in cold water.
  7. Go over stained area with a soft cloth to remove any remaining residue.
  8. Place garment in the washing machine and wash as usual.
  9. Air dry the garment or tumble dry on low heat.
