The best way to combat perspiration stains is to pre-treat them with water and white vinegar. Begin by mixing equal parts of white vinegar and water, and then use a sponge or cloth to apply the mixture to the stain. Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes.
Once the pre-treatment has set, rinse the stained area with cold water.
Mix a few tablespoons of oxygen bleach in a bowl of cold water, and then use the mixture to soak the sundress. Let it soak for no more than 5-10 minutes.
Rinse the sundress again with cold water to remove any traces of oxygen bleach.
Apply some laundry detergent onto the stain, and then use a brush to scrub the affected area. Afterwards, rinse the sundress again.
If the stain persists, then you should re-wash sundress in the washing machine. Be sure to use the delicate cycle and a mild laundry detergent.
Finally, hang the sundress outside to dry. Avoid drying it in the dryer as the heat may cause the stain to set.
With these 7 easy steps, you'll be able to easily remove pesky perspiration stains from your sundress!
