Materials Needed

  • Mild soap or detergent
  • Soft bristle brush
  • Clean, soft cloth
  • White vinegar

Step 1: Pre-treat Stains

Prepare an equal mixture of water and white vinegar. Dip a clean sponge in the mixture and apply it to the stains on your Skechers. Blot the soiled area gently with the sponge, and let it sit for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Scrub the Stain

Mix a mild soap or detergent with some warm water and use a soft bristle brush to gently scrub stained areas. Work in small sections, and dab the suds off with a damp cloth as you go. Pay extra attention to areas around seams and laces.

Step 3: Rinse the Area

Rinse the stained area with clean, warm water. You can also squeeze a clean cloth or sponge in water and dab the area to remove any soapy residue.

Step 4: Air Dry and Repeat

Allow the shoes to air dry in a well-ventilated area. If stains remain, repeat steps 1 through 4 until they are gone.
