Sometimes it's simply unavoidable: no matter how many extra shirts you wear underneath your medical scrubs, you inevitably sweat. That sweat can leave ugly yellow stains on fabrics if not taken care of quickly. It is important to keep your scrubs clean for a professional look while at work, as well as to help them last for a longer period of time.
As an added measure to help reduce the amount of perspiration staining, add a 1/4 cup of white vinegar to the first wash cycle when laundering your scrubs. This will help to remove any lingering odors.
Be sure to follow the fabric manufacturer's instructions on the care label when laundering your medical scrubs. Also remember that some bleaching agents can damage some fabrics, so it's best to test a small hidden area first before treating any larger areas of your scrubs.
