Before you begin, make sure you have the items you need to remove sweat stains from your sandals. You will need dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, white vinegar, a soft brush, and clean towels. Make sure you also gather paper towels or an old rag in case of spills.
Start by wetting the stained area on your sandals with warm water. This will help loosen up any dirt or debris that is stuck in the fabric.
Next, apply a small amount of dish soap to the stained area. Scrub the soap into the fabric using a soft brush or your fingers. Allow the soap to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
After you have rinsed off the soap, mix together equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar in a bowl. Dip your brush into the solution and then scrub it onto the stained area. Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes before rinsing off with warm water. You may want to do this step twice if the stain is particularly stubborn.
Once you have rinsed off the hydrogen peroxide and vinegar solution, use a clean towel to dry sandals completely. Make sure the sandals are completely dry before putting them away. This step will help ensure that the sweat stains do not return after cleaning.
At this point, you should have successfully removed the perspiration stains from your sandals. Keeping your sandals clean is an important part of keeping them looking new and preventing odors from building up. With these simple steps, anyone can easily remove perspiration stains from their sandals.
