Let's face it: robes are some of the comfiest items of clothing around. But when those perspiration stains start to set in, it can take away from the comfort. But fret not! With the right recipe of ingredients, you can remove perspiration stains from your robe and have it looking and smelling good as new.

What You'll Need

  • A bowl
  • ½ cup of baking soda
  • ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide
  • ¼ cup of mild detergent (i.e., liquid dish soap, baby shampoo, etc.)
  • High-efficiency washing machine (HE) or top-loading washing machine
  • Spray bottle

Instructions

  1. Start by combining the baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and detergent into the bowl. Mix until combined.
  2. Transfer the mixture into the spray bottle.
  3. Spray the mixture onto the stained area. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes.
  4. After letting it sit, throw the robe into HE or top-loading washing machine.
  5. Run the washing machine on a regular cycle with cold water.
  6. Once the cycle is done, take the robe out of the machine and hang dry. Do not place into dryer.
