Gather Your Supplies

First, you’ll need a few things to get the job done. Gather up following supplies:

  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • White Vinegar
  • Borax (optional)

Pre-treat the Stains

Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide with 1 part detergent and apply to the stained area. Let the mixture sit on the stain for 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. If the stain is still present, move onto the next step.

Soak the Pants

Fill a tub or sink with cold water and add enough white vinegar and detergent to make a solution. Place the stained clothing in the mixture and let it soak for 3-5 hours. After soaking, check to see if stain has come out. If it hasn't, move onto the next step.

Apply Borax

If the stain is still visible, mix 1 tablespoon of Borax with 2 tablespoons of detergent and 1 cup of warm water. Apply the mixture to the stained area and scrub lightly. Allow the mixture to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Finally, wash the garment as usual.
