Pre-treating Sweat Stains

The best way to get rid of sweat stains is to pre-treat them. To do this, mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon of baking soda into a paste. Rub the paste onto the stained area and leave it for a few minutes. This should help remove the stain.

Removing Sweat Stains with Laundry Detergent

If the pre-treatment doesn’t work, you can try using laundry detergent to get rid of the stains. Simply mix a teaspoon of laundry detergent with two cups of warm water and soak the panties in solution for at least an hour. After that, rinse with cold water and the stain should be gone.

Getting Rid of Stubborn Sweat Stains

If the stain is still there after you’ve tried the two methods above, you can try using a harsher cleaner. Mix together 1 cup of ammonia, 1 cup of vinegar, and 1 cup of baking soda. Apply this solution directly onto stain and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then, rinse with cold water and the stain should disappear.

Preventing Sweat Stains

The best way to deal with sweat stains is to prevent them in first place. To do this, wear natural fabrics such as cotton which absorb moisture and allow your skin to breathe. Also, opt for lighter colors, as darker colors tend to show sweat stains more easily. Lastly, take a few extra minutes to air out your panties before putting them on and you may be able to avoid sweat stains altogether.
