Before treating the stain, be sure to blot the area with a clean cloth to remove any excess moisture.
Next, mix a tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent in a bowl of warm water. Gently swirl the mixture with your hands to create suds.
Using a clean cloth, dip it into the sudsy solution and then dab the stain gently. Make sure to avoid rubbing fabric harshly, as this can damage the delicate organza fibers.
Once the pre-treatment is finished, you’ll want to wash the fabric. Put the garment in the washing machine set to a delicate cycle with cold water. Add a mild detergent and let the machine do its work. Do not add bleach or any other chemical additives.
After the fabric has been washed, it’s important to air dry it. To do this, hang the garment up in a well-ventilated space away from direct sunlight. Allow the fabric to air dry completely before putting it away.
And there you have it – you’ve successfully removed perspiration stains from your organza fabric!
