One of the most effective ways to remove perspiration stains from nylon fabrics is to soak them in a mixture of white vinegar and cold water. Add two tablespoons of vinegar to one gallon of cold water and mix it together. Then, submerge the garment and let it soak for 15-20 minutes. The acid in the vinegar will help to loosen the stain.
After soaking garment for 15-20 minutes, you can pretreat the stains with a liquid cleaning solution. Spread the solution over the stained area and let it sit for about 15 minutes. For best results, use a product specifically designed for removing tough stains like perspiration.
Once the garment has been treated, it’s time to launder it. It’s important to read the care instructions for the garment and follow them carefully. If you don’t, you risk damaging the fabric. Most nylon garments can be machine washed in cold or warm water. Use a mild detergent and don’t use any bleach. Rinse item twice and then hang to dry.
