Steps to Cleaning Perspiration Stains from Macramé
- Soak the macramé in a solution of equal parts distilled white vinegar and water for approximately 15 minutes.
- Mix one tablespoon of oxygen-based bleach with one cup of cold water.
- Dab the mixture onto stained area of macramé with a soft cloth.
- Allow the mixture to sit on stain for 15 minutes.
- Rinse off the mixture with cold water and allow macramé to air dry.
- If necessary, repeat steps 1 through 5 until the stain is gone.
