What You Need
- A small bowl
- One teaspoon of liquid detergent (preferably a colour-safe bleach alternative)
- Half cup of warm water
- a small piece of cloth (cotton is preferable to prevent pulling fibers from the garter)
Steps To Take
- Mix one teaspoon of liquid detergent and half cup of warm water in the small bowl and mix it properly.
- Take the small cloth and dip it in detergent mixture.
- Gently dab the stained area of the garter with the cloth and see if the stain lightens.
- If the stain still remains, repeat step 3 until the stain is removed.
- Once stain is removed, rinse off affected area with water and let it dry.
Additional Tips
- It is best to avoid drying the garter in sun for a long period of time as this could cause the fabric to fade.
- It is important to read the care label of the garter beforehand to ensure that the cleaning method used doesn't damage the fabric.
- Do not use too much detergent as this might leave a soapy residue on the garter.
