Step 1: Soak Earplugs in Apple Cider Vinegar

The first step is to make a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar in a small container. Place the earplugs in the mixture and let them soak for about 15 minutes. The acidity of the vinegar will help to break down the sweat stains.

Step 2: Use a gentle dishwashing soap

Once earplugs have soaked for 15 minutes, remove them from vinegar solution and rinse them off with warm water. Apply a small amount of gentle dishwashing soap to the earplugs and rub it into fabric. This will help to remove any remaining residue from the sweat stains.

Step 3: Rinse thoroughly

After applying the soap to the earplugs, rinse them off thoroughly under warm running water. Make sure to get all of the soap off so that it doesn't irritate your skin when you wear the earplugs.

Step 4: Dry earplugs with a soft towel

Once the earplugs are rinsed, use a soft towel to dry them off. Make sure to squeeze out any extra moisture so that the earplugs don't become mildewed or start to smell.

Step 5: Air-dry overnight

The last step is to air-dry the earplugs overnight. This will ensure that all of the moisture has been removed and earplugs are completely dry before you use them again.
