  1. Mix equal parts white vinegar with liquid dishwashing soap and gently apply the mixture to the stained area with a laundry brush or toothbrush.
  2. Allow the mixture to sit on the stain for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Rinse area with cold water, taking care not to spread the stain. Pat dry with a clean cloth.
  4. Soak the stained area in a solution of mild detergent or baby shampoo mixed with warm water.
  5. Gently work the solution into the stain with a soft brush or cloth.
  6. Rinse with clean, cold water and pat dry.
