Before washing the capris, pre-treat any visible sweat stains. Mix equal parts liquid laundry detergent and liquid dishwasher together in a bowl. Apply the mixture directly onto stained areas, and rub it in gently using a soft cloth or brush. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. If you don't have laundry detergent and dishwasher, you can also use white vinegar as a substitute. Dilute it with water (2 parts water to 1 part vinegar), and then apply it as you would with the laundry detergent mixture.
Place the capris in the washing machine, and select the warm water option. Use a regular cycle with a gentle detergent. Add ½ cup of white vinegar to wash cycle to help remove the sweat stains. This will also help to brighten and deodorize the fabric.
Once the cycle is finished, take the capris out and place them in the dryer. Use the low heat setting and make sure to use a dryer sheet to reduce static cling. Take the capris out once they are completely dry. Inspect the areas where the sweat stains were to make sure the stains have been removed.
If the sweat stains still remain after the first wash, repeat steps 2 and 3. You may also need to touch up the affected areas with a stain remover specifically designed for fabrics. Follow the instructions on product packaging to get the best results.
