Step 1: Pre-treat Stain

First, use a stain remover to pre-treat the stain. Let it soak for about 15 minutes before attempting to wash the garment. This will help to break down the sweat and make it easier to remove.

Step 2: Soak Garment

For particularly stubborn stains, you may want to soak the garment in a solution of water and laundry detergent before washing. Make sure the solution is cool, as hot water could set the stain.

Step 3: Hand or Machine Wash

Now, you can either machine wash or hand wash the garment. If you choose to machine wash, select the delicate cycle with cold water. If you decide to hand wash, use a gentle detergent and warm -- not hot -- water. Gently scrub the soiled area with a soft cloth.

Step 4: Check the Stain

After washing, check the stain to see if it's still there. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 1-3 until the stain disappears.

Step 5: Dry the Garment

Once stain is removed, dry garment. For best results, air dry the garment or tumble dry on a low setting.
