Start by diluting a small amount of clear dish detergent in a small bowl of warm water. Dip a white cloth into mixture and gently dab away at the stain. Be sure not to scrub too hard so as not to damage fabric.
Fill a basin or sink with enough warm water to completely cover your boxers. Add ½ cup of white vinegar to the water and stir to combine. Allow your boxers to soak for 30 minutes before moving on to the next step.
After soaking, launder your boxers as usual. Use detergent and fabric softener to ensure the fullest cleaning. After washing, hang your boxers up to dry or toss in the dryer on low heat.
After your boxers are dry, check if there are any remaining perspiration stains. If so, you can spot treat them with hydrogen peroxide. Start by placing your boxers over an absorbent towel. Carefully pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide over the stained area and use a clean white cloth to dab it away. Once the stain has been fully removed, rinse with cool water and allow the shorts to air dry.
With these few easy steps, you can easily remove stubborn perspiration stains from your boxers. Don't forget to pre-treat the stains, soak in a vinegar solution, and launder as usual. If all else fails, you can always spot treat with hydrogen peroxide.
