Step 1: Wipe the Stained Area

Take a soft, damp cloth and gently wipe away any dirt or debris that has accumulated around the perspiration stain. Make sure to avoid scrubbing and hard rubbing, which could damage barrette.

Step 2: Soak in White Vinegar

Fill a bowl with warm water and white vinegar. The ratio should be two parts water to one part vinegar. Place barrettes in solution and let them soak for about 15 minutes. This will help lift stain and remove bacteria that could cause odor.

Step 3: Scrub with Baking Soda

Combine a tablespoon of baking soda with a teaspoon of water until it forms a paste. Next, take a soft cloth and apply the baking soda mixture to barrettes. Gently rub in circular motions until the stain is removed. Rinse off the barrettes with warm water.

Step 4: Dry Barrettes

Take a soft towel and gently pat the barrettes dry. Avoid rubbing the barrettes as this could damage the metal. Once they’re dry, you’re ready to wear them again!

Conclusion

With these simple steps, you can get rid of unsightly perspiration stains and keep your barrettes looking their best. Just remember to always use gentle cleaning products and to avoid scrubbing too much.
