Sweating happens, especially if you've been holding onto a hot baking dish for too long. And while perspiration stains don't take away from the flavor of your food, they can certainly make your baking dish look less than appetizing. To get those stains off your baking dish, follow these steps.
1. Soak the baking dish in warm water. Fill up a bucket or sink with warm water and let baking dish soak for at least an hour. This process will help soften the dried perspiration stains, making them easier to remove.
2. Scrub the baking dish with baking soda and salt. Take a damp sponge and sprinkle a combination of baking soda and salt over soiled areas. Then use the scrub side of the sponge to rub baking soda and salt into the stained area. The abrasive nature of the baking soda and salt should help scrub away any remaining residue.
3. Rinse the baking dish and check for stains. After scrubbing with the baking soda and salt mixture, rinse the baking dish in warm water. If you still see some stains, repeat the process until all the perspiration stains are gone.
4. Finish with a vinegar and water solution. Once all the stains are removed, fill up a bucket or sink with equal parts vinegar and water and let baking dish soak for an hour. The vinegar will help disinfect baking dish and leave it sparkling clean. When the hour is up, give the baking dish one final rinse with warm water and it's ready to be used again.
Now you know how to easily get perspiration stains out of your baking dish! With a few simple steps, you can have a baking dish that looks as good as new.
